The procedure typically takes less than an hour to complete, with minimal discomfort and no downtime. Patients undergo numbing for 30 minutes-1 hour along with a relaxing, hydrating face mask. For optimal results, many patients undergo a hydrafacial treatment prior to their neogen treatment

Recovery from Neogen Plasma

Patients may experience mild redness or swelling immediately after the procedure, which usually subsides within a few hours.

Three settings are typically used for Neogen Plasma treatments. Patients who are treated with our spa setting have minimal to now downtime of several hours to 1-2 days. Patients who are treated with our medium setting treatment of 0.9-1.7 Joules experience downtimes of approximately 3-7 days, 3 days on average. Patients who are treated with our high energy setting treatment of 2.3-3.5 Joules experience downtimes of 5-10 days with average downtimes of 5 days. Results can be noticed immediately after healing with peak results noted at 5 months. Collagen remodeling from a Neogen plasma treatment can occur up to 12 months with results lasting on average 2-3 years. Some patients have reported results up to 5 years,, with maintenance treatments recommended for optimal results.
