Hydrafacial is a non-invasive facial treatment that combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration, and antioxidant protection for clearer, more radiant skin. It is the top of the line treatment for patients looking to protect & reinforce their skin barrier by pushing moisture past the top layers into deeper layers of the epidermis for longer lasting results from their facials.
Hydrafacial treatments are one of the few facial treatments whose effectiveness has been studied in a clinical setting– this is why hydrafacials are carried here at HavenMD.
This customizable treatment addresses various skincare concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, congested pores, and uneven skin tone.
Level of exfoliation, strength of extraction, and insertable serums are all customizable throughout your procedure. Talk to your provider to determine your optimal customized hydrafacial!
Hydrafacials can benefit all skin types and is suitable for addressing a wide range of skincare concerns, including aging, acne, hyperpigmentation, and dehydration. Hydrafacials can also be used to treat the delicate skin around the eyes and the lips with specialized serums, and tools. Lastly, hydrafacials can be utilized to perform lymphatic drainage to tone and contour all parts of the body.
Common treatment areas include the face, neck, décolletage, and other areas affected by skin imperfections. Back hydrafacials have been shown to improve acne and itchiness of the back, especially during the summertime after prolonged sun (and sunscreen) exposure. Hydrafacials of the breast area & booty have been used to allow for smoother skin, and a smoother surface for self-tanning agents to lie more evenly.
Ideal candidates for Hydrafacial are individuals seeking to improve the overall health and appearance of their skin without downtime or discomfort. Ideal patients have not used accutane in the past 6 months and have no history of reactions to hydrafacials.
Patients with allergies to salicylic acid or shellfish, as well as pregnant patients should let their provider know these details so that modifications can be made during their facials. Patients with epilepsy should also let their providers know about their syndrome so that care can be taken if planning on utilizing red or blue light therapy during treatment.
Candidates may have concerns related to aging, acne, hyperpigmentation, or uneven skin texture.
In experienced hands, hydrafacials cleanse, exfoliate, and hydrate the skin for a clearer, more radiant complexion.
Hydrafacials improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, congested pores, and uneven skin tone. They allow for painless extractions and for exfoliation that then allow your skin care to sit closer to your deep skin layers, allowing for improved absorption of your medical grade skincare products.
Hydrafacials offer a safe, non-invasive approach to treatment of a variety of skin concerns with no downtime and immediate results. When performed consistently, hydrafacials have also been shown to reduce acne breakouts by exfoliating the skin, improving skin turnover and therefore decreasing deeper pockets of the skin where acne coalesces, and reinforcing the skin’s barrier to decrease areas of the skin vulnerable to acne penetration.
The procedure typically takes 30-60 minutes to complete depending on the customized hydrafacial you choose in conjunction with your provider.
The procedure has no downtime and minimal discomfort. Your provider will likely apply sunscreen after your hydrafacial if done during the day to protect your skin (and your investment) after your treatment!
Your provider may also apply some of our medical grade skincare products if you wish to augment your treatment results. Patients may be advised to avoid sun exposure and certain skincare products before and after the procedure.
A baseline hydrafacial lasts approximately 30 minutes, while a more intensive hydrafacial, our platinum hydrafacial, including lymphatic drainage, customizable boosters and light therapy, can last 1 hour per area treated.
Patients may experience mild redness or sensitivity immediately after the procedure, which usually subsides within a few minutes to hours.
Results are noticeable immediately and can last up to 2-4 weeks, with regular treatments recommended for optimal maintenance. We recommend most patients to obtain hydrafacials monthly, at the very least every month to protect their investments.
We also may recommend the incorporation of certain skincare ingredients into your skin routine to optimize your results to help you reach your dream skin!
