Medical Grade Facials

Medical grade facials are advanced skincare treatments performed by licensed medical esthetician professionals using professional-grade products and techniques to address specific skin concerns.

These facials are tailored to each patient’s unique skincare needs and incorporate specialized ingredients backed by evidence based medicine.

What Is Medical Grade Facials?

Your provider may also incorporate equipment such as an Optic Slim machine prior to your facial to obtain more information regarding your pore size, extent of UV damage, and skin health so that this information can be used to construct the best facial for you!

At HavenMD, while we incorporate a variety of treatments into our care, you will find that our medical grade facials use exclusively ZO skincare products. These products undergo thorough testing for efficacy and are formulated with the latest data from clinical studies.

Medical grade facials can target various skin concerns, including acne, aging, hyperpigmentation, dehydration, rosacea, and sensitive skin.

Common treatment areas for medical grade facials include the face, neck, décolletage, back, and other areas affected by specific skincare issues.

Our Acne medical grade facials incorporate higher levels of deep exfoliation, extractions, and procedures designed to stimulate collagen turnover to decrease the incidence of scarring, minimize breakout frequency and decrease breakout severity. Often, these facials are paired with medical grade skincare to treat your skin at home, so patients can incorporate healthy skincare habits every day to improve their skin. Your esthetician may recommend products such as sulfur-based masks, exfoliating products, and light sunscreens after your treatment. Even with acne, a light moisturizer is recommended for daily use to reinforce your skin’s barrier.

Our Anti Aging facials can utilize stem cell and growth factor based treatments to keep skin looking youthful and pump, stimulate collagen turnover, and replenish the skin. Your esthetician may recommend products such as a retinol, anti aging serums, exfoliating products, and sunscreens after your treatment.

Hyperpigmentation facials utilize medical grade skincare to regulate pigment, exfoliate dead skin, and promote skin health. These facials are often incorporated with take home skin care products to augment patients’ results during their facial. Your esthetician may recommend products such as a Vitamin C and Tranexamic Acid based serum, niacinamide, and a sunscreen after your treatment. Extensive hyperpigmentation may also benefit from incorporation of a retinol and/or hydroquinone into your skincare regimen with the oversight of our skilled providers.

Think: nonsurgical face lift for a fraction of the cost!
I was a bit nervous as this was my first consultation, but Dr. Mathias immediately put me at ease. She suggested the pixelated CO2 laser and she did warn me of some downtime after the procedure, but it was 100% worth it. Think: nonsurgical face lift for a fraction of the cost!
